Enter an IPv4 address and prefix length to get the network address, broadcast, subnet mask, host range and number of usable hosts.
It is CIDR notation: the first 24 bits are the network part, giving the mask 255.255.255.0 and 254 usable host addresses.
The first address is the network address and the last is the broadcast address. /31 and /32 are special cases with no reserved addresses.
